With the objective of enriching the lives of our Tenerife residents, Abama Luxury Residences has developed a series of owner experiences that are both personalised and curated. They form part of our yearly calendar of activities and events that take place within and outside of the resort.
We hope all our owners will take the opportunity to enjoy these exclusive events that allow small groups of people to get to know one another and learn more about the lifestyle and history of Tenerife.
Gran Hotel Taoro Experience

In 2025, the Abama family expanded with the opening of the magnificently restored Gran Hotel Taoro in Puerto de la Cruz. After three years of painstaking work, this historical destination, which hosted an endless list of dignitaries, artists, and leaders in its heyday, has been returned to its former glory, opening its arms to the modern world.
This event will include the sublime Malpais tasting menu with four wine pairings at LAVA restaurant, as well as a special performance and an insiders' tour of the facilities. Transport will be provided.
Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

About the experience
The Gran Hotel Taoro opened its doors in 1890 as Spain's first luxury grand hotel, and quickly became the iconic destination of European royalty and aristocracy attracted by Tenerife's excellent climate and stunning environment.
One of its most famous repeat guests was celebrated writer Agatha Christie, who drew inspiration from the natural surroundings of Taoro Park and the tranquility of this unique haven.
Our experience will feature a theatre performance activity with an Agatha Christie theme, followed by a special insiders' tour of the hotel's facilities prepared specifically for Abama owners.
The 13-course Malpais tasting menu at LAVA restaurant awaits you to cap off your evening .
Dinner at LAVA
Participants will enjoy a special 13-course tasting menu at LAVA restaurant, helmed by chef Erlantz Gorostiza. Gastronomy at its finest, with surprises around every corner, and designed to leave you with the flavor of the islands.

Event Information & Cancellation Policy
The price of the event, per person, is €240 (IGIC tax included). When you click to register, you will be brought to our payment and registration platform.
The event has a minimum and maximum capacity, and it will be cancelled if we do not reach the minimum number of attendees by the 14th of April, 2026. In the case of a cancellation for that reason, the full payment will be reimbursed to the original purchaser.
You may cancel yourself, for whatever reason, and receive a 100% refund up to the 14th of April, 2026.
