If you want to surprise your partner with an incredible meal, Abama’s newest culinary project is offering something special on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of February: a 6-course tasting menu that gives the ocean center stage.
It begins with a steak tartar over crispy beet pearls, a blend of textures and flavors that delights in contrasts. Next arrives a Scarlet Shrimp carpaccio with a drizzle of passion fruit vinaigrette, raifort cream, and herb mustard ice cream. Your date will have just begun and you’ll already be enjoying the surprising pleasures of the unexpected.
The third dish is textured squid, featuring a grilled roll accompanied by a liquid ravioli made from its ink and a concentrate of its stock. This delicious course is followed by a crispy sea bass with lemon Canary Island potatoes and green mojo, paying homage to our island. The main course ends with one of Melvin’s star dishes, their Oxtail Royale, combined with a parsnip purée and pear in ginger.
The dessert, a warm embrace to cap off your night, takes all five of your senses for a whirl: a warm caramelized brioche toast with almond cream and coffee ice cream.
