Diving school, baptisms and dives
At Abama coast, one of the most special Canarian dives known as “The Brain Cave” The submarine coast of Abama hides a well-kept secret: the “Brain Cave”, a cave that goes from surface down to a depth of 10 metres. When you get there the cave is 60 metres wide and you can find volcanic tubes some with light and others totally dark. If you are still a beginner you may want to try a diving baptism, come and participate in the complimentary diving demonstration at Abama Main Pool
Swimming classes for Babies & Adults
In Abama you can choose from several aquatic activities: from swimming with an instructor and improving your swimming style, to diving with your child in a special session for babies between 6 months and 2 years, or even leaving your child in the hands of an expert instructor to be taught how to swim. It is also a good option for adults who what to redefine their swimming style or even to forget the fear of swimming in deep waters.
Snorkelling Class
Enjoy a under water session of snorkelling, play with the fishes and observe our sea urchin, Canarian fishes like “fulas”, sea breams and greenies. Understand the origin of our beach and discover how the young volcanic earth formed million years ago, curious forms and erupted cliffs under the sea.
Sea Bream Fishing
Come and participate in a pleasurable fishing session on the shore of Abama’s Beach with our fishing instructor. Meeting point at Abama beach. Maximum: 10 participants. We recommend that children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Check the schedule of this activity on the day daily programme.
